Welcome to the newly refreshed Securities Lending Newsletter. We have revamped the look and feel of our newsletter and updated the content to give you a more forward-facing overview of what we expect from the securities lending market in the coming months. To provide a holistic overview of the market and economy we have added new sections that focus on emerging markets and countries, new products, and market updates.

The regional focus in this issue highlights Korea as a growing market for beneficial owners. In this section we explain how the Korean market has grown since J.P. Morgan initiated our lending program there in 2002. We also include information about what lenders need to know to conduct a successful program in Korea and what they can expect before entering the market.

In our newly added product section, we provide insight on what we are developing and fine tuning for clients. In this issue we focus on collateral and diversifying your program to mitigate risk.

Finally we have refreshed our desk updates to give you a forward-facing view of what we expect in the market in the coming months.
