J.P. Morgan to Offer Direct Custody Service in Ireland

London, December 22, 2010 – J.P. Morgan’s Worldwide Securities Services (WSS) business today announced that it will offer direct custody services in Ireland, further expanding the firm’s direct custody and clearing footprint.

This builds on J.P. Morgan’s existing local presence in a number of markets including Australia, India, New Zealand, Taiwan, Russia, UK and US with on-the-ground coverage and expertise for clearing, settlement, custody and asset servicing. The move also follows the completion of the successful migration of the direct and master custody clients from ANZ Custodian Services which further strengthened its position as a leading provider of third party custodial services in the Australian and New Zealand marketplace.

J.P. Morgan already offers institutional investors custody and clearance services, with coverage in over 100 markets.
