Global Derivatives Services ('GDS') provides OTC derivative processing services to the Buy-side. Our clients are Asset Managers, Pension Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Hedge Funds and other institutions who are trading, or are planning to trade, OTC derivatives as a component of their Fund strategies and recognise the value that J.P. Morgan can offer in managing all or part of their derivative operation.

Comprehensive OTC Derivatives Processing: GDS can offer its clients a broad range of operational services across the OTC trade lifecycle including trade capture, lifecycle management, confirmation, settlement, independent valuation management and reconciliations. With coverage across all the major OTC asset classes and support of over 40 individual instrument types, GDS is able to fully support the majority of Buy-side firms' OTC processing requirements.
Derivatives Expertise: Through the expertise of our Valuation Control Group ('VCG'), GDS offers flexible in-house production, verification and valuation transparency of OTC valuations. In addition, VCG maintains partnerships with a number of Third Party Valuation Providers to ensure comprehensive valuation coverage on clients' portfolios.
Innovation and Partnership: Our ongoing investment in the GDS proprietary infrastructure DerivClear ™, together with access to the leading OTC utilities and services and close collaboration with the J.P. Morgan Investment Bank, enables GDS to keep our offering up-to-date at a time of unprecedented industry change.
