Through electronic Accounts Receivable Check (ARC) Conversion, eligible consumer checks drawn on US dollars received at a lockbox or drop box can be converted into electronic debits and processed through the ACH network.
The checks are machine read to capture the magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) information routing number, account number and check serial number along the bottom of the check. These data elements, along with the check amount, are used to create an ACH record that is transmitted to us. We originate the transaction and credit your account with us the next business day.
We provide an end-to-end ARC conversion solution that includes business case development resources, remittance processing software, MICR parsing software, comprehensive implementation services, testing support and ARC-capable retail lockbox outsourcing.
