BusinessWeek names JPMorgan Investment Bank among top 10 "Best Places to Launch a Career"

BusinessWeek named JPMorgan's Investment Bank as the #9 best employer for new college grads in their September 18 cover story, "Best Places to Launch A Career" and one of three investment banks included in the list of 55 companies.

JPMorgan's Alumni Athlete Network and Fantasy Futures, the firm's interactive derivatives trading game, were highlighted as examples of the new innovative tactics employers are using to identify and attract top talent.

The criteria for Business Week's selection were:

• Employers seen as creating the most "buzz on campus," according to directors of undergraduate career services
• A questionnaire asking about pay, benefits, retention, and training programs
• A Universum communications survey of more than 37,000 U.S. undergraduates about companies at the top of their list of most desirable employers
