What are the CDs?
The CDs are deposit obligations of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. (the "Bank" or "we"). The CDs will re-pay principal at the maturity date as well as an additional amount (either at maturity or through periodic interest payments) based on a specified financial index or rate. Please check the terms of your CD to determine payment details.
Can the CD’s be withdrawn prior to maturity?
Withdrawals prior to maturity will be permitted only in the event of the death or adjudication of incompetence of the beneficial owner(s) of a CD.
Are the CDs callable by the Bank?
Possibly, depending on the specific CD. Some of JPMorgan's CDs are callable at the Bank’s option as long as we have given at least 5 Business Days prior notice to you. If we call the CDs, we will pay to you on the Call Date the principal amount of your CDs plus any accrued and unpaid interest.
May the CDs be held in an individual retirement account?
The CDs may be held in certain individual retirement accounts under which JPMorgan does not have discretion.
