The Broker Dealer group is part of the Investment Bank's Financial Institutions Group. The group works closely with Global Syndicated Finance, the premier arranger of syndicated facilities to the securities industry. The Broker Dealer group has been lead arranger for over two-thirds of the outstanding deals for the industry. The Broker Dealer group's primary role is in providing Financing Products for the trading and brokerage operations of securities firms.
The Broker Dealer group facilitates discussions and may work with Mergers & Acquisitions specialists in those instances when customers are seeking strategic partners, acquisitions or merger opportunities.
The group facilitates discussions with Debt & Equity Underwriting specialists when its customers are seeking to raise capital in the debt and equity markets. The group is also responsible for the credit risk associated with trading relationships between the customer and Debt & Equity Underwriting.
JPMorgan has extensive operating product offerings that support the securities industry. The Broker Dealer group works closely with their colleagues in Treasury Securities Services to ensure excellent product delivery.
