Our Community

Being a first-class firm also means doing “good”, in addition to doing well. JPMorgan has a proud tradition of being a good corporate citizen around the world.

In 2006, the firm gave more than $100 million through grants and sponsorships to thousands of non-profit organizations around the world.

We also support the individual interests of our global employee population through the firm’s Matching Gift program and the local, regional and global volunteerism activities they initiate or in which they participate.

"Our environmental policy illustrates our desire to preserve and protect the world around us. We recognize that the policies and practices we adopt today will shape not only our lives, but also those of future generations."

– Amy Davidsen, JPMorgan Chase,
Director of Environmental Affairs

For example, our “Team IB ” program was designed specifically to support our culture of philanthropic/charitable giving, one that also supports our business priorities. Through Team IB, we celebrate Investment Bank employees who give their time to support worthy causes, while fostering team building, and providing opportunities for them to get involved. By volunteering our time and “giving back” to the communities in which we operate, we all become better both individually and as a firm. And when people believe in an organization both for what it represents as a business and what it contributes to the wider community, the impact can be significant.

Below are links to a small sample of the many philanthropic organizations and causes JPMorgan supports. Our ongoing engagement in these types of efforts enriches our culture as well as the experience for our employees.
