J.P. Morgan is a leading provider of financial services in the Nordic region. The firm has been committed to serving clients in the area since the 1900s, when Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company and The Chase Manhattan Bank, forerunners of today's J.P. Morgan, did business and financing with leading Nordic shipping and industrial companies. The firm opened its first Nordic office in 1973, followed by branches in the Nordic capitals in the 1980s and 1990s. J.P. Morgan's current footprint in the Nordic region consists of investment banking, asset management and securities services branches in Stockholm, and Treasury & Securities Services branches are also present in Oslo, Copenhagen and Helsinki.

Investment Bank
Across the Nordic area, our leading
investment banking business has key relationships with top financial and corporate institutions as well as global investment managers and governments. We offer the full spectrum of investment banking services to our clients, including M&A advisory, corporate banking, debt capital markets, capital raising and risk management, as well as sales, trading and research.

Asset Management
J.P. Morgan Asset Management provides investment solutions to clients in the region, including financial institutions, sovereigns, intermediaries and private individuals, through a comprehensive product range covering all major asset classes and markets.

Private Banking
The firm has a well established
private banking franchise providing world-class wealth management expertise and solutions to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.

Treasury & Securities Services
J.P. Morgan's Treasury & Securities Services business is one of the world's largest financial services providers within cash management and logistics, and a leading global custodian in the region, operating through two divisions:

  • Treasury Services provides cash management products, trade finance and logistics solutions, wholesale card products, and short-term liquidity management capabilities to small and mid-sized companies, multinational corporations, financial institutions and government entities. 
  • Worldwide Securities Services stores, values, clears and services securities and alternative investments for investors and broker-dealers. The business also manages depositary receipts programs globally.

Global Corporate Bank
The firm provides corporate banking services to large corporations, financial institutions and public sector organizations through the Global Corporate Bank, which partners with businesses across J.P. Morgan to meet clients' needs in financing, risk management, working capital, cash management and investments.
