John Freeman is senior vice president and region manager for asset-based lending in Western Canada. John's territories include the Western Provinces of Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan along with the U.S. Pacific Northwest. He provides financial solutions to Middle Market, Corporate Client Banking, and Investment Bank clients with revenues ranging between $40 million and $10 billion.

John has 18 years of banking experience, of which the last 10 have been with J.P. Morgan and its predecessor organizations. In 2007 John founded the J.P. Morgan Vancouver and Seattle offices for asset-based lending. Prior to moving to Vancouver from Chicago, John served in various capacities within the firm including Originations, Portfolio Management and the Restructuring Group.

John received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from DePaul University in Chicago. As an active member of the community, John has served on the board of the Northwest Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. He is also an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
