NEW YORK: J.P. Morgan hires Richard Gray as Institutional Client Advisor

New York, March 5, 2012 – J.P. Morgan Asset Management today announced that it has hired Richard Gray as Managing Director and Institutional Client Advisor. He will be based in New York and will be focused on developing and managing relationships with large market public and corporate clients.
Mr. Gray was most recently a Managing Director at Ramius LLC, the global alternative investment management business of Cowen Group, where he was responsible for business development and client relationship management for hedge fund investors, as well as product management for internally managed hedge funds.

Mr. Gray has held a number of senior Institutional roles during his career, including serving as Director of North American Institutional Sales at John A. Levin & Company, and Director of U.S. Institutional Sales for Goldman Sachs, where he was responsible for U.S. mid-market sales.
