Institutional Investor ranks J.P. Morgan #1 in U.S. Equity Research

Institutional Investor magazine has named J.P. Morgan the #1 2012 All-America Equity Research team. This is the third consecutive year that J.P. Morgan has earned the top ranking in U.S. research. The firm was also ranked the #1 2012 All-America Equity Sales team and #2 2012 All-America Equity Trading team.
The firm captured 43 positions overall, including 27 analysts ranked in the top three, with 16 #1 ranked analysts.
J.P. Morgan ranked:
- #1 with our top 150 priority accounts for the sixth year in a row
- #1 with clients weighted by commissions paid
- #1 with clients weighted by assets under management and across each of the asset sizes
- #1 across each key constituency of buy-side analysts, portfolio managers and senior management
Institutional Investor surveyed almost 3,300 buy-side analysts and portfolio managers managing nearly $10 trillion in assets at more than 900 firms.
