During the past twelve months, J.P. Morgan’s Global Trade Services business unit has won a total of 15 awards for leadership on several fronts, including overall trade banking excellence, the management of complex trade finance transactions, and continuing innovation.
Honors Include "Best Trade Services Provider," "Most Innovative Trade Bank," "Best Structured Trade Finance Bank" and 7 Deals of the Year
The widely read publications honoring J.P. Morgan are The Asset, FinanceAsia, Global Trade Review, Trade & Forfaiting Review, Trade Finance and Treasury Management International.
Global Trade Services, a unit of J.P. Morgan's Treasury Services business, provides market-leading classical trade, structured trade finance, and supply chain management solutions to corporations and financial institutions worldwide. Solutions include letters of credit, open accounts, bank-to-bank reimbursements, secured receivables finance, global trade management, supply chain financing, and syndicated, medium and long term trade loans.
In what proved a tumultuous year for the markets, J.P. Morgan's demonstrated trade capability and intense focus on clients continued to provide a high degree of visibility and recognition for the firm.

For the third year running, Global Trade Review's readers named J.P. Morgan "Most Innovative and Responsive Trade Bank." Readers also voted J.P. Morgan "Best Trade Bank -- North America," a new poll category at the magazine. Trade & Forfaiting Review's readers cited J.P. Morgan the industry's "Best Trade Services Provider" for the fifth straight year and "Best Online Trade Bank" for the second year in a row. The bank also won a new poll category, "Best Structured Trade Finance." FinanceAsia's coveted "Best Trade Finance Solution" award went to J.P. Morgan for Reliance Industries Limited's streamlined structured finance solution, delivered in just five weeks. Treasury Management International named J.P. Morgan "Best Supply Chain Finance Bank" for the second year running, while The Asset named J.P. Morgan the "Best Trade Finance Bank -- Asia."
Additional Structured Trade honors came in the form of seven "Deal of the Year" awards for transactions in vital sectors ranging from energy to telecommunications in countries that include Mexico, Ghana, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, India and Pakistan. Highly complex and dependent on the teamwork of many interested parties, including the U.S. Export-Import Bank and the International Finance Corporation, the transactions were typically completed on tight schedules and depended for success on the expertise of J.P. Morgan's trade banking teams.
