J.P. Morgan Worldwide Securities Services Reappointed as Master Custodian for Act Department of Treasury

Sydney, January 12, 2009 - J.P. Morgan announced today that following a review of custody arrangements, the Department of Treasury for the Australian Capital Territory Government has reappointed J.P. Morgan as its Master Custodian for the next five years.
J.P. Morgan has provided a suite of master custody services to the Department of Treasury since 2003 and has been reappointed after a tender process that involved two other local custodians. J.P. Morgan will continue to provide a complete solution set including custody, performance analytics, compliance monitoring, registry, unit pricing and portfolio accounting services.
