For the fourth year running, JPMorgan was recognised as an Employer of Choice for Women by the Australian Government, gaining a citation from the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency.
Sydney, 17 March 2008 - For the fourth year running, JPMorgan was recognised as an Employer of Choice for Women by the Australian Government, gaining a citation from the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency.
JPMorgan is one of only 99 companies in Australia to gain an EOWA citation, and one of only forty-two companies in New South Wales.
JPMorgan Australia Chief Executive Officer, Robert Priestley, said "It is an honour that we have been awarded this citation for the fourth year in a row. JPMorgan continues to focus on a number of initiatives that have specifically contributed to our goal of creating an inclusive workplace where women can reach their full potential. Focusing on issues which impact the recruitment and retention of women at JPMorgan is a business imperative."
According to the EOWA JPMorgan was recognised for providing improved outcomes for women, particularly in the areas of attracting, growing, promoting and retaining female employees as well as ensuring people management frameworks are in place and supported by an inclusive workplace culture.
