"It was an exciting and close race to watch," said Rob Priestley, Chief Executive Officer of JPMorgan Australia and New Zealand.

The first male across the line was Ben St Lawrence from Good Health Solutions with a time of 16:38 minutes, second male across the line was 2005 race winner Charlie Low from McGrathnicol & Partners with a time of 17:35 minutes. The first female across the line was Jo Rankin from Calvary Health Care running the race in 21:21 minutes, and the second fastest female was Prue Davison from Allans Arthur Robinson with a time of 21:36 minutes.

Participating companies included AMP, Challenger, Commonwealth Bank, ING, IAG, Macquarie Bank, Perpetual, Westfield and Westpac.

The JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge is a team event. Winning teams are determined by the best combined times of the four top runners from a corporate team. A men's team consists of four men, women's team four women and a mixed team two men and two women.

This year, the top two winning male, female and mixed teams from the Sydney event will participate in the series Championship in New York in 2008.

"The Corporate Challenge enjoyed sensational support from the business community this year. We had a great turn out from many of Australia's most well known companies. It has been a great success," Mr Priestley said.

The Oncology Children's Foundation (OCF) is the beneficiary for this year's race donation.

The OCF is a not-for-profit Children's Charity dedicated to helping sick and critically ill children suffering from cancer, leukaemia and other serious cancer related illness. JPMorgan's donation will help fund the OCF/Team Swans Healthy Choices Community Program.

A number of media and sporting personalities participated in the Corporate Challenge, lending their support to the OCF, including Lee Furlong from Fox Sports, Peter Spider Everitt, Jared Crouch and Nick Davis from the Sydney Swans.

Over the past four years, JPMorgan has donated more than $100,000 to charitable organisations in Australia via the Corporate Challenge. Last year alone JPMorgan donated more than US$500,000 around the world through the Corporate Challenge Series.
