The Chase is On!

Aug 17, 2007

The JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge is back again for another year. With less than four months to go until the big race, the Sydney Corporate Community is already preparing for the 5.6 km run around Centennial Park.

The JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge will take place on Wednesday 14 November at Centennial Parklands in Sydney. With an anticipated participation of 10,000 runners, from over 350 companies, this year's Corporate Challenge will be bigger and better than ever before.

CEO of JPMorgan Australia and New Zealand, Rob Priestley, highlights the Corporate Challenge as a unique corporate event. "The JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge is very special. It provides a wonderful opportunity for the Sydney business community to come together in a fun, exciting and healthy way. We are proud to again host the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge in 2007."

The Corporate Challenge also has a strong community element. This year's race beneficiary is the Oncology Children's Foundation (OCF). The OCF is a not-for-profit Children's Charity dedicated to helping sick and critically ill children suffering from cancer, leukaemia and other serious cancer related illness. OCF is the only Australian children's charity exclusively devoted to raising funds for medical research into childhood cancers.

Over the past four years, JPMorgan has donated more than $100,000 to charitable organisations in Australia.

The JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge is a world-wide event held in 12 locations across the USA, UK, Germany, South Africa, Australia and Singapore. More than 225,000 runners from over 8,000 companies are expected to participate in 2007.

The winning male, female and mixed teams advance to New York City for the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge Championship.
