Colin McKechnie |
|
Colin McKechnie is the Head of Global Trading Services for J.P. Morgan’s Worldwide Securities Services, where he is responsible for Securities Lending, Collateral Management, Depositary Receipts and Execution Services, including Transition Management. He is a member of the Worldwide Securities Services Executive Committee. McKechnie has 25 years of experience across the funding, cash management and trading activities of J.P. Morgan. Early in his career he worked in the Investment Bank where he ran Money Markets Sales and Trading for the London Merchant Bank, J.P. Morgan Securities Limited. He expanded his role and became European Treasurer for Morgan Guaranty Limited in 1997 where he oversaw all funding activity for the firm's European branch network and spearheaded the firm’s Euro conversion process and Y2K initiative. Returning to the U.S. after 21 years in London he assumed leadership of the Investment Bank's Global Credit and Rates Funding activity working to centralize funding activity and strengthen collateral management processes. In 2008 he became Global Head of Trading for Financing & Markets Products (FMP), responsible for the trading and investment activities for Securities Lending and Depositary Receipts, and assumed leadership of the FMP organization globally in 2010. McKechnie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University and a Masters of Management from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. |

Judith Polzer |
|
Judy Polzer is a Managing Director and Global Business Executive for J.P. Morgan’s Securities Lending Business. Polzer originally joined J.P. Morgan in 1986 spending most of her career in the Proprietary Positioning Business before leaving the firm in 2001 to pursue an opportunity in the hedge fund sector. Polzer rejoined J.P. Morgan in 2005 in the Treasury Department as business manager in the Global Funding and Liquidity Management group and product manager for Treasury’s development efforts for Basel II. In 2006, she joined Worldwide Securities Services where she ran the DRX group and later held the position of Trading COO, managing market risk for Financing and Markets Products. Polzer received her B.S. in business from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an M.B.A in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. |

Anne M. Sylvester |
|
Anne Sylvester is a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan where she heads Regional Technical Sales and Client Management for Trading Services as part of J.P. Morgan’s Worldwide Securities Services division. Sylvester re-joined J.P. Morgan from HSBC in 2007 to lead North America Hedge Fund Coverage and Investor Client Management for Hedge Funds. Sylvester was Head of Sales for the Americas at HSBC from 2004 to 2007. In this role, she was responsible for the overall distribution of global fixed income, equity, structured and commodity products to institutional and corporate investors throughout the Americas. Prior to this appointment, she was responsible for building the U.S. Emerging Market business, where she oversaw the sales, trading and research functions. She joined HSBC in 2001 as Head of Emerging Market Sales. |

Paul Wilson |
|
Paul Wilson is the international head of client management and sales for Trading Services which includes securities lending, foreign exchange, collateral management, clearance, futures & options clearing and transition management. Wilson is responsible globally for new business development and technical sales for this business and product set as well as technical relationship management. Technical relationship management is responsible for managing existing Trading Services relationships and driving incremental growth. Technical relationship management also delivers J.P. Morgan performance reviews that focus on how alpha was generated, costs reduced and how the associated risks are managed and mitigated; technical client management also provides clients with insight and perspective regarding market and industry trends and issues. As part of the Trading Services senior management team, Wilson helps define the business and product strategy, helps drive the product development process to improve client satisfaction, reduce risk and improve operating leverage. Wilson partners with other groups across Worldwide Securities Services and J.P. Morgan to develop beneficial client solutions and approach in order to foster competitive advantage. Based in London, Wilson oversees all aspects of the Trading Services business in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), including sales, marketing, trading, relationship management, client service, operations, product management, product development and risk management. He has been with J.P. Morgan for 26 years. During this time he has held a variety of different positions across Worldwide Securities Services including operations, client service, product development and product management. |

Shirley McCoy |
|
Shirley McCoy is a Managing Director and the Global Head of Fixed Income Trading Securities Lending. Shirley is responsible for the strategies of lending all fixed income securities globally. McCoy began her tenure with the firm at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. in 1976, in the Branch Banking division. In 1981 she became an operations manager of Securities Lending and in 1985, transferred to the trading desk. In addition to her role and responsibilities at J.P. Morgan, McCoy has served as the Vice President of the Urban Financial Services Coalition (a not-for-profit association committed to enhancing the professional advancement and economic empowerment of minorities in the financial services industry). Currently, McCoy serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Urban Financial Services Coalition. She is also a member of the EquiLend Fixed Income Board Committee, for the development of securities lending industry guidelines. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Marymount Manhattan College and has completed graduate course work at Pace University. |

John Shellard |
|
John Shellard manages Equity Lending Trading in the Trading Services Division of Treasury & Securities Services at J.P. Morgan. Shellard has been with J.P. Morgan since 1998 when he joined as part of the Chase purchase of the Morgan Stanley Trust Company where he headed up International Lending (equities and fixed income). He has been in the securities lending business for 15 years including a 3 year assignment in the U.S, where he added U.S. domestic equity lending to his list of responsibilities. In addition to the U.S. lending desks, Shellard manages desks in the U.K., Hong Kong and Sydney, with a total of 22 lending professionals working under him |

Matthew Sarson |
|
Matthew Sarson, Managing Director, has global responsibility for Securities Lending Asset Management. In this role, Sarson is responsible for portfolio management and trade execution across the global client base. Additionally, he is charged with assisting the Relationship Management and Sales Teams by reviewing portfolio performance and investment guidelines with existing clients and securities lending opportunities with prospective clients. Sarson has sixteen years of securities lending experience, and twenty-three years of investment management experience. He joined J.P. Morgan through the Bank One merger. Prior to joining Bank One and the securities lending business, he was a money market portfolio manager with Reich & Tang Asset Management L.P. for seven years. Matthew holds a B.S. in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University. |

Sheila Swanson |
|
Sheila Swanson, Managing Director, is the Americas head of Securities Lending Relationship Management at J.P. Morgan. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Swanson was a Managing Director at Wachovia Capital Markets and Co-Head of the Equity Finance Group, Equity Division, from 2000 – 2007 and then Managing Director at Dresdner from 2007 to 2008, managing the Equity Derivatives Delta One Sales Team. She held a similar position as Director for UBS from 1997 to 2000 in the Investor Coverage Equity Derivatives Group. Prior to that, she was Senior Product Manager at Clearstream in London, responsible for the development of their Securities Lending Agency Program. Swanson was also Global Product Manager for Securities Lending at Harris Trust in London, covering Europe and Asia from 1992 – 1995, and prior to that at Harris Trust in the U.S. where responsibilities included U.S. Equity and then U.S. Fixed Income Lending. Swanson has over 15 years of experience in Global Financial Products, including Equity Finance, Equity Derivatives, Securities Lending and Repo, Product Management, Sales and Marketing. She has developed several businesses from inception, including the Securities Lending business at Clearstream and International Securities Lending business at Harris Trust, and the Equity Finance business at Wachovia and subsequent sale to Dresdner. She has also sold Prime Services and Equity Derivatives at UBS. Ms. Swanson holds an M.B.A. degree in Finance and Marketing from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, and a B.A. in Finance from DePaul University. |

Bill Smith |

Bill Smith, Managing Director, is the Americas’ Head of New Business Development for Securities Lending, Worldwide Securities Services, at J.P. Morgan. Smith is responsible for managing sales and new business development for J.P. Morgan’s global securities lending business. In this capacity, he directs the overall sales strategy for both custodial and non-custodial securities lending focusing on positioning the business for growth by delivering innovative, market-leading products, services and client-facing technology to prospective and existing J.P. Morgan clients. Smith joined J.P. Morgan in 2007 bringing more than 20 years of business management experience in securities lending, collateral and cash management and capital markets. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, he held several key positions in the securities lending industry including Managing Director at HSBC Bank USA NA responsible for the global securities lending business, and Global Business Head for securities lending at Bankers Trust, and subsequently, Deutsche Bank, AG. Smith received his B.S. in Economics from The State University of New York, and his M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University. |

Joshua M. Lavender |
|
Joshua Lavender is an Executive Director in Securities Lending at J.P. Morgan. Lavender oversees consultant relations and has an integral role in directing client strategy and developing new business opportunities. He provides consulting services to clients on the design and development of customized lending solutions encompassing program structures, loan types, distribution methods, parameters and collateral. Lavender’s services offer a unique perspective based on his experience as a former client of a variety of securities lending agents including J.P. Morgan. Additionally, Lavender is responsible for content management, the development and production of client facing materials and training and education on the securities lending industry. Lavender joined the firm in July 2008. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, he spent 13 years with General Motors Asset Management, where he was responsible for the evolution and management of the firm's global securities lending program and overseeing a variety of fixed income mandates. He has extensive experience in developing securities lending initiatives through the utilization of multiple lending platforms. Lavender is a speaker at industry conferences, provides webinars and on-site training and education and authors articles on securities lending which appear in trade publications. Lavender holds a B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University and an M.B.A in Finance from Fordham University. |

Andrew Cheng |

Andrew Cheng is Executive Director and Head of Securities Lending Clients Sales Management, Asia (ex-Japan), for J.P. Morgan Worldwide Securities Services. His current role involves client servicing and sales, business development and strategy planning across the region for the firm’s securities lending business. Cheng joined J.P. Morgan in 1992 and has more than 20 years of experience in custody and financial services, of which, over 10 years have been in securities lending. Cheng holds a Masters in Commerce (Treasury) from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and a Bachelor degree in Financial Administration from the University of New England, Australia. He is a member of CPA Australia. |

Stewart Cowan’s career in financial services has spanned over 20 years and he has been employed by J.P. Morgan for the last 10 years. During this time, Cowan has held a variety of positions across Worldwide Securities Services business, including: Australian Relationship Manager, Singapore Business Manager and the latest move in January 2006 to Financing and Markets Products. Stewart Cowan’s specific responsibilities include the management of Securities Lending product development, sales and client relationships for Australia, New Zealand and Japan. |

In a broad based career spanning 29 years in financial services Mark has most recently held senior roles in the securities lending arena at Nomura International plc where he was Head of Securities Financing, London and Hong Kong, Deutsche Bank where he was Head of EMEA Securities Lending Sales for EMEA Prime Services and BNY Mellon where he was Managing Director and Head of EMEA Securities Lending Business and Product Development. |

Dan Rudd |

Dan Rudd is responsible for relationship management for Securities Lending, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Dan has 16 years experience in the financial services industry and now leads the EMEA Securities Lending Relationship Management Team, which has responsibility for both custodial and non custodial securities lending services. Dan joined J.P. Morgan in 1997 and has held a number of positions across Worldwide Securities Services, before moving to Trading Services where, for over the last 10 years, he has worked in a variety of management roles. These include Product Development for Securities Lending, where he was responsible for the development and expansion of acceptable collateral, the opening of new lending markets and the implementation of non-custodial lending services. |
