With the account-based Chase Direct Benefits Card from JPMorgan Electronic Financial Services (EFS), federal government agencies can forego checks and vouchers in favor of direct deposit to deliver benefits to recipients Social Security, Supplemental Security Income, Veterans Affairs payments and the like.
Because the Chase Direct Benefits Card carries the Visa® debit logo, benefit recipients can easily access their funds at ATMs and make purchases at millions of retail locations worldwide.
Benefit recipients can enroll by phone or by completing a paper enrollment form and mailing it to us. Once the enrollment information has been processed, a card is mailed to the benefit recipient and an FDIC-insured bank account is instantly opened which can be used by the federal agency for ACH payments.
By using "My Account" a Web access service cardholders can conveniently check their balance, view account activity, communicate with Customer Service and more.
