Chase Cash Card

Make instant single payments for a variety of uses, including election worker compensation, Department of Corrections payments, petty cash, employee awards and more. An alternative to expensive and cumbersome paper checks, the Chase Cash Card from JPMorgan Electronic Financial Services (EFS) enables government agencies to issue instant payments on-site via a debit card, reducing the significant costs of check delivery, administrative security and fraud, while expediting payment delivery to recipients.

With the Chase Cash Card and a Personal Identification Number (PIN), cardholders can easily access their funds at ATMs and participating retail locations that accept PIN-based transactions. As an option, the Chase Cash Card can carry the Visa debit logo, enabling cardholders to make purchases at millions of locations around the world that accept Visa debit cards, including retail stores, restaurants, gas stations, Internet shopping sites and more.

Participating government agencies receive an initial supply of Chase Cash Cards that can be instantly funded with any amount and activated on-site through our Web-based Agent Service Center. Cards can then be distributed over-the-counter and used by the cardholder to immediately access their funds. Additionally, by using "My Account" — a Web access service — cardholders can conveniently check their balance, view account activity, communicate with customer service and more.

Why use Chase Cash Card?

  • Eliminate the costs of check issuance and processing
  • Streamline and simplify the overall payment issuance process
  • Eliminate the need to have cash on hand for single payments
  • Offer the convenience and security of a debit card to payment recipients
