The Group of Thirty (G30) is an industry group made up of senior representatives from international private and public financial institutions. Originally assembled to study the development of global securities clearing and settlement arrangements, the goal of the group has been to put forth recommendations on reducing risk and improving efficiency in market activities.
In the recent G30 study, JPMorgan played a leadership role and was a major contributor to the final report and resulting recommendations. JPMorgan embraces the importance and urgency of the new G30 recommendations and continues to identify and prioritize areas we believe benefit our clients and the industry most, with the aim to dramatically lower cost, reduce risk and improve oversight.
